About Funding

The Hannah Playhouse does not fund projects.

Wellington City Council heavily subsidises the venue hire charges of the Hannah to make it as accessible as possible for the sector. Please note, this means if you are applying for WCC Arts and Culture funding for work at the Hannah, you will not be funded for venue costs.

In your application for funding, please give details of all income and expenditure in your budget inclusive of venue hire but note that this particular line item will not be eligible for funding from WCC grants.
